
Finland in FAIR
Finland signed the FAIR Convention on in Wiesbaden on 4th of October 2010, and declared its contribution to the FAIR construction.
Finland is a member of the FAIR-NORD Consortium represented as the shareholder by the Swedish Research Council.
Helsinki Institute of Physics (HIP) coordinates the Finnish activities in FAIR GmbH. HIP is a physics research institute that is operated jointly by the University of Helsinki, Aalto University, the University of Jyväskylä, the Lappeenranta University of Technology, and the Tampere University of Technology. The research activity at the institute covers an extensive range of subjects in theoretical physics and experimental subatomic physics.
