The NUSTAR Collaboration met in Valencia, Spain, on September 23-26 to hold the NUSTAR Week 2014.

From May 14 to May 16 a bilateral NUSTAR Workshop took place in Istanbul in Turkey, organized in the frame of the "German-Turkish Year of Science" and supported by The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TUBITAK).

The Annual Meeting of the NUSTAR Collaboration took place at GSI from March 3 until March 7. Over 180 international participants discussed recent research results and technical developments related to the NUSTAR program at FAIR.

During the NUSTAR Annual meeting 2014, Nasser Kalantar-Nayestanaki (KVI-CART/University of Groningen, Netherlands) has been elected by the members of the NUSTAR Board of Representatives as new Spokesperson of NUSTAR.

Alison Bruce (University of Brighton, UK) and Nasser Kalantar-Nayestanaki (KVI-CART/University of Groningen, Netherlands) have been elected by the NUSTAR Council for a two year term as members of the NUSTAR Board of Representatives.

The cold mass test of the GLAD magnet, designed and built at CEA/Saclay, has been successfully ended in December 2013.

On October 14, 2003 the NUSTAR Collaboration had the first meeting of its Council and the name or acronym “NUSTAR” (for NUclear STructure, Astrophysics and Reactions) was chosen.

The NUSTAR Collaboration met in Helsinki, Finland, from October 7-11 to hold the NUSTAR Week 2013.

On May 3, 2013, representatives of UK Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC) signed an official agreement for the UK to become an associate partner of FAIR.
