From February 26 to March 1, the NUSTAR Annual Meeting took place at GSI. More than 150 registered participants on-site, as well as more than 50 participants connected on-line, discussed the present status of FAIR and NUSTAR.

After a three year hiatus due to the COVID pandemic and following the NUSTAR Week 2019 in Gif-sur-Yvette, France, the NUSTAR community had its collaboration meeting once again outside of GSI. This time, the NUSTAR Week 2023 was hosted by IFIN-HH and ELI-NP in Bucharest/Magurele, Romania.

From February 27 to March 3, the NUSTAR Annual Meeting took place at GSI. After several years of interruption due to the Corona Pandemic, it was possible to meet again without restrictions for the first time.

GSI researcher Dr. Hans-Jürgen Wollersheim was awarded with an adjunct professorship at the Delhi University in India.

The NUSTAR Annual Meeting 2020 was held at GSI from March 2 to March 6. More than 150 international participants discussed the progress in the realization of FAIR and the NUSTAR experiments.

On Monday, 4th November 2019, the in-kind contracts for the Indian contributions to MONSTER and DEGAS were signed by the Scientific Managing Director of FAIR, Prof. Paolo Giubellino, and the representative of Bose Institute (BI), Prof. Anup Kumar Mishra.

In April 2019, the Collaboration Contract between FAIR and BINP was concluded which foresees the production and delivery of the remaining two dipole units. The kick-off meeting took place at GSI on May 20, 2019.
