Two Indian researchers secure first ever Industrial Fellowship award through IGSTC

In 2021, the Indo-German Science & Technology Centre (IGSTC) launched its first-ever individual fellowship programme under Industrial exposure for Doctoral students and industrial fellowship for Postdoctoral researchers. Two talented Indian early-stage researchers are awarded a fellowship for performing applied research at the FAIR facility, and these fellows will be the first of their kind. This fellowship is a unique opportunity for Indian researchers (doctoral and postdoctoral) to experience and work on applied research at a company/research center in Germany.
About the IGSTC:
Indo-German Science & Technology Centre (IGSTC), established by the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India, and the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), Government of Germany invite applications for availing Industrial Fellowships to encourage young researchers towards applied research. This programme aims to promote PhD students/researchers in S&T with an appreciable track record and aptitude for applied research and technology development.
