Audio: Discussion about FAIR at Cheltenham Science Festival

During this year‘s Cheltenham Science Festival, physicist and journalist Jim Al Khalili discussed with Elizabeth Cunningham, physicist and particle and nuclear physics outreach officer at the UK Science & Technology Facilities Council (STFC), Zsolt Podolyak, physicist and Spokesperson of the FAIR NUSTAR collaboration HISPEC/DESPEC and UK Scientific Advisor on FAIR Resource Review Board, as well as Jürgen Henschel, FAIR project leader at GSI Helmholtz Centre for Heavy Ion Research, about the  next big thing in their field: the FAIR project in Darmstadt.


The Cheltenham Science Festival is a yearly event where the City of Cheltenham (Gloucestershire, UK) invites scientists aim to entertain and inspire festival audience of all ages. This year the festival focused on emerging ideas in space exploration, new technologies, and the interface between science and design.
